I love making art books and filling them with art. This little book was made with 3 separate sections of mixed-media paper and sewn to a stiff watercolor paper cover. I’ll be adding small watercolor paintings of California Wildflowers.
Cover 6″ x 4 1/2″
Open book size: 6″ x 8 1/2″, number of pages: 22
Wow, what a treasure!! So lovely Sharon, you have inspired me to drop everything and start creating!

How much fun is this? Nice work and fun way to learn about flowers – or whatever. I like the idea of “themed” books, too.

That’s lovely Sharon! I was in a community gallery in Dunedin NZ yesterday and saw a “book” made by one of the group’s members. Will have to hunt out our photos and see if its worth its own post. May hurry it along in response to your post 🙂
