Hi Jodi, thank you so much. Here is my process on this project…This art when through several alterations. First, I painted a background with acrylics. I attempted to use watercolor pencil over the acrylic and washed it off. Then I drew theI wasn’t getting any creative inspiration so I changed directions. So, I painted Bald Eagle on watercolor paper for fun. I was adding a background and I didn’t like it, so I cut out the image and glued it on the acrylic background. I then used my Kuretake watercolor pens and added the background colors. I cut off a strip of the background edge and cut out the letters and glued then on with some added shadows. This went on for several days because I was not sure what direction to take. There are many time I make something I don’t like and I cut it up and use it in another piece of art.
