Words and Pictures

Good Morning – I’m working on an ongoing Art Journal called “Words and Pictures”. Today I cut out lines of text from a magazine and then combined them in two lines to include in my picture. It’s always a happy surprise when the unexpected happens.

Here is the text:

most interesting things about
a refreshingly skewed vision

————————————————

rain contrast with piercing sunlight
remember how I felt that day

——————————————

love a simple life
the narrative grows

——————————

table is merely a
stack of notes

———————————————-

simplicity
things you’ve made yourself

I am the least artistic person that I know, perhaps that is why I am so enchanted by all of you who are. Your minds fascinate me, how you view a scrap of fabric or words in a magazine as something other than just that. My curiosity bids me to ask if you have always been so inclined? I so enjoy your creativity. Thank-you!

Thank you so much Ellen, my memory of making art goes back to my kindergarten days. I still have all of the ceramics I made back then. It’s just a part of me that never stops.I make art everyday. Thank you for visiting and following my blog.

Wow! So wonderful, Sharon! Looks like fabric to me… I especially like how your painted your pages. The butterflies or are they moths? Are so beautiful! And the words you added make me stop and think. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous art today, Sharon! ❤️
