Good Morning…a couple of new items today. I’ve been working on making a journal of words and pictures. This is one of new insertions. My life has gone through considerable change in the last three years, so the poem and art reflects my thoughts. And, Letter H is below.
Lost and Found
I’m not lost, but I feel lost.
I know where I live, but where do I live?
Traveling with a new map has taken me off the main road.
Making u-turns, right turns, left turns, stopping and starting over.
The bumpy ride is full of potholes and distractions.
I’ve lost some people along my main road and there is no going back.
They have gone to a new place and I’m unable to visit.
So, I return to my maze of travel.
I may feel lost but I’ve found that I’m making my way back home.
And, letter H from my alphabet project.
Somehow you mastered the glittery feathering of the hummingbird, Sharon, so whatever you are doing to find your path, it is working, dear friend. My warmest wishes for peace and happiness to you–

Hi Sharon, I have enjoyed your emails and art for many weeks especially today. I too, have experienced that lost feeling brought on by changes and seeking a new direction. Hyacinths, honeydews, and hummingbirds! Three of my favorite things. Here in CNY, we are impatiently waiting for Spring. Your art lifts my spirits. Thank you, R Claudia

Your poem is beautiful, Sharon. I’m glad you shared this part of you and I like how you illustrated it with arrows. Sometimes I wish life’s roadmap was less confusing but then I guess we would miss some lovely surprises along the way. ❤️
Your hummingbird hums a happy tune on your journal page for me this morning. Thank you. 😊

Hi Jill, thank you. I’ve been doing more writing in a more poetic form. I’ve been studying Stephen Fry’s book “The Ode Less Travelled.” It has been very helpful. And I am inspired by so many other writer’s who blog. Hum away today, haha!

Sharon your zest is contagious. And thank you for supporting Sudan. Here is a link to his caretakers tribute to him which I think you will appreciate. This caretaker has said goodbye to a beloved friend. Let me know if this link doesn’t work https://www.facebook.com/james.mwenda.1276/posts/2149782698582809
