Happy Monday – Here are the last two images in my series of “Laundry”.
Both images were made in Photoshop. I used the Layers features to add the many fabric pieces.

Oh Sharon! Wow – the first one elicits so many memories. the second one blows me away again with how you took that background image and applied the laundry. such a contrast – yet goes together so perfectly. You really are an artistic genius…. I am running out of ways to tell you – LOL!

Hi Jenna – thank you. maybe one day I’ll do a show and tell how of the process. My career was in graphic design so I had to learn to use all the graphic programs on the computer. I’m happy I can still use my skills for artistic means.

I am enjoying the laundry series, Sharon. Great to see the elements of outdoor laundry in the first one, taking the clothes down, the clothespins, great colors and textures. The frisky puppy adds the whimsy that I like so much in your art. The second one is fun too, integrating the scenic sight with the colorful laundry.

Hi Lynn, I’m so glad you like these. My mother didn’t get a dryer until I had moved out on my own. And, then out of habit she still hung the clothes outside.

Love it! Starla is the laundry “helper” around here. Now if I could only get her to put the socks in the hamper. Have an awesome week!

Hi Jill, thank you. I scanned scraps of fabric. Then I was able to place them in the drawn shapes, using the Photoshop tools. I like the mischievous dog, too.
