Here’s what I’ve been working on…
Next weekend, I’m going to sell a few items at an art fair. I have already posted one of the art pins several weeks ago (see below). These new pins are a last minute idea…they’re made from recyled cereal box cardboard and magazine paper, acrylic paint, old buttons, yarn, and Tacky Glue. The yarn is sewn on a product called “Solvy” (water soluable stablizer), made by Sulky. After the yarn is sewn together, I rinsed it with water and the Solvy dissolves. It is an amazing product.
Here is a collection of the pins and more of the cardstock backing waiting for the yarn and buttons.

I like the kimono one best! A cute idea! I just spent hours organizing all my buttons by color while taking pictures for a future blog post! Have fun at the art fair!
