Last night, (while watching a Miss Marple Mystery) I drew the Loon on gray paper with a white gel pen and black Micron pen. I like the graphic woodcut effect. The bordered was added with PS Express, an app for the iPhone.
Floating on the lake
The Loon glides with the current
Slow down like the Loon
*slow down like the loon* – I really love this

Thanks Osyth…this time of year can bring about a frantic pace if not careful!

I love looks, and have yet to see one in person. This is beautiful,I can see it in a quilted fabric piece.

Hi Sharon, it does have a woodcut feel to it. It is beautiful! ❤️ I like how you used gray paper and just added white and black inks. It is good to slow down this time of year, I agree. 😊

Thanks so much Claudia…the drawing just kind of happened. When I sat down to make something for my post it all fell into place.

All the different textures are amazing. It does look like a woodcut! Or block print. 🙂

I really like the woodcut effect! And I see you are an Agatha Christie fan? I listen to Hercule Poirot and “Tommy & Tuppence” on Audible (read by Hugh Fraser) a lot while drawing!
