Painting Patterns

I painted some patterns this weekend to use in a variety of ways in my artwork. This week I’ll be posting some of them incorporated in my art making. Today’s offering is a crow cut out from a journal page. I then pasted a copy of the pattern on the back of the cutout. I made color copies of the patterns so I can use them many times.

The added color and marks are watercolor, watercolor pencil and my black pen. I like working in this method. I’ll be doing some more exploring. 🙂

Wow! Love how you used your watercolor pattern to create your crow! You always have such a good color sense, Sharon. 😃 I also like that you kept a pattern of your crow’s shape to use it again in another project. ❤️
